TIP UP TOWN

This popular winter festival is tons of fun for the whole family! Tip Up Town started as a simple ice fishing contest nearly 70 years ago. Today it is a much larger and exciting event. You will still find the ice fishing contest but, on a much larger scale. You can also look forward to a parade, carnival rides, family games and entertainment, even snowmobile drag racing out on the lake. Tip Up Town is a favorite event of many and it is one you wont want to miss!

PUMPKIN RUN CAR SHOW

If you love classic cars, this is the event for you! The Hub's & Pub's Pumpkin Run Car Show is a two day event. The car show is best know for the interesting and unique hand-made trophies. The show concludes with a cruise around the lake. You'll find car enthusiasts lining the streets to get a glimpse as they pass by.

MEMORIAL WEEKEND

This three day event draws quite a crowd and for good reason. It is held in memory and comoration of the valiant Fire Fighters who lost their lives while protecting their communities. Each day of this festival offers new family fun, ending with a parade of the largest display of firefighting and rescue equipment in Northern Michigan.
